In the Shadow of the Mine: Puzzles & Chests

Before starting, ensure you are Level 22. Travel to Hogsmeade Valley, southeast of the East North Ford Bog Floo Flame, to meet Sebastian.

You must clear two Bandit Camps on the way to the mine. It's recommended to defeat enemies and loot their Collection Chests.

The entrance to the Overlook Mine is east of the second bandit camp. Prepare with potions and ensure you have gear space before entering.

Overlook Mine Collection Chest #1: Upon entering, defeat the Goblins. Take the path to the left, slide down, and clear the Goblins in the large room. Burn away the webs to the left of the ledge to find the first Collection Chest. A large chest is also accessible by climbing to a ledge to the right of where you slid down. Pull the crate to a higher ledge to proceed.

Overlook Mine Collection Chest #2: Continue down the path, optionally veering right for loot. Slide down into another large room. Climb the ledge to your left, burn the webs to find another chest. Use Reparo on the broken bridge to cross.

After crossing the bridge, defeat the Spiders (they are weak to Fire).

Press onwards to a fork. Head right, use Incendio on the vines, then hang another right to find the second and final Collection Chest.

Return to the fork. Shoot the brazier with Confringo to keep vines away and climb the ledge to find a Legendary Chest.

Return to the first fork and take the left path. At another split, break boards to the right to find a chest.

Continue down the path and defeat Goblins and Spiders in a large cavern.

Find and burn webs with Confringo to reveal three Rune symbols: one to the right of the door, one above and to the left of the door, and one high on the wall to the northeast. Strike all symbols to open the door.

Enter the hidden room and open the large chest to obtain the Second Triptych Canvas Piece.

Speak with Sebastian and head up the stairs to the southeast to return to the Undercroft. Place the canvas piece into the Triptych to complete the Quest.
