In the Shadow of the Mountain: Puzzles & Chests

Head to Marunweem Lake to meet Sebastian.

Navigate through two Goblin camps under cover of darkness. Use Disillusionment to sneak past the first checkpoint. Fight through the first Bandit Camp, collect the Collection Chest in the tent, and then proceed to the second camp. Register the Floo Flame at the second camp.

Enter the caverns. After an ambush by spiders, blast away rocks to the left with Confringo to find the first Collection Chest.

Continue through the caverns, burning webs and blasting more rocks with Confringo.

In a large room, defeat a massive group of spiders, including two Thornback Matriarchs. Use Ancient Magic on lesser spiders to build up power.

Burn away spiderwebs blocking a door to the north to find the second Collection Chest.

Find and burn the webs on three rune symbols in the room: two on either side of a door, and one amongst rubble opposite the door.

Pass through the rune door and drop into the large cavern below.

Defeat the Mountain Troll and any accompanying spiders. Use spiders to build Ancient Magic to use against the Troll. The Troll's attacks include unblockable club slams and a charge; use Stupefy on the third club slam and roll away from charges. Hitting a wall stuns the Troll.

Use Reparo on the broken bridge to repair it.

Head into the room to the south. Light the bowl in front of the statue to reveal a chest.

Return to the previous room and take the repaired path. Use Accio on a crate to reach the area above the broken staircase.

Follow the path to another large room with a chest. Head down the west corridor to find another statue with a bowl; light it to open a second chest in this room.

Blast away rocks with Confringo in a corner to continue.

Leap over a gap and reach a door requiring three rune symbols.

Blast away rocks with Confringo to the left of the door to uncover the first symbol. The second symbol is on the far east wall, and the third is on the northern wall. Hit all three symbols and pass through the rune door.

You will find yourself in Isidora’s main chamber.
