Big Penguin Race

Alright, it’s time to hit the slide again, but this time things are a bit… competitive! To get started, jump into the chimney at the beginning of the Cool, Cool Mountain course. Instead of just sliding down, you’ll find a big penguin waiting for you.

This guy wants to race you down the slide, and let me tell you, he can be a real pain. He’ll speed up at certain points and zoom right past you, which is super frustrating when you’re trying to nail those tricky corners. Mess up a turn, and you might just find yourself falling off the edge into the abyss, forcing you to start the whole race over.

Important Note: You absolutely cannot use the shortcut past the false wall. If you try to cheat your way through, the big penguin will call you out on it at the end of the race. So, you’ll have to beat him fair and square to snag this star. This might take a few tries, especially if you’re used to taking that shortcut during the “Slip Slidin’ Away” mission. Just keep practicing!

Once you finally manage to beat the big penguin, wait for him to stop moving at the bottom of the slide. When you approach him, he’ll hand over your Power Star. Good luck!
