You'll kick things off on a Toad spaceship. Look on the bottom side for a Launch Star that'll whisk you away to the mansion's grounds. Once you land, you'll run into some Pumpkinhead Goombas. Don't worry about the pumpkins; just use your spin attack to knock them off and then deal with the Goombas like usual.

As you head towards the mansion, keep an eye out for a Chain Chomp rolling down the path – dodge it if you can!

Inside the mansion, your first challenge is a Boo. You can't hurt them directly, so you'll need to shine a light on them. To the right of the entrance, there's a switch that activates a spotlight. Use your Y button to spin the Boo into the light.

Another Boo will pop up as you go up the stairs. This one's guarding a key you need. Spin it into the spotlight too, and the key will appear. Grab it to unlock the door at the back of the room.

In the next area, your goal is to collect five Star Launcher Chips. Watch out for more Pumpkinhead Goombas and use the bridges to navigate between the floor, walls, and ceilings to reach all the chips.

Once you've snagged all five chips, a Star Launcher will appear in the window on the right wall. Hop in to reach a higher part of the mansion.

You'll land on a new platform with three Pull Stars. You need to grab the key for the next door. Jump down to where the key is, and then quickly use the Pull Stars to get yourself up to the door.

Head into the new corridor. You'll encounter a couple more Boos that you'll need to spin into the spotlight.

In the far-left corner at the end of the corridor, you'll find a Boo Mushroom. Grab it to transform into Boo Mario!

As Boo Mario, you can press A/B to fly and use Y or shake the Right Joy-Con to turn invisible and float through walls. Just be careful – if you go into a spotlight, you'll turn back into normal Mario.

Use your new invisible powers to phase through the fencing wall and enter the final room.

In this last room, use your invisibility to pass through another fencing wall. Then, let the spotlight in the small room turn you back into normal Mario. Use the spring jump to leap over the bookcase and find Luigi!

Talk to Luigi, and he'll reward you with a Power Star. After this level, you can find Luigi hanging out at Toad’s Garage in the Observatory.

Tips

Remember to use your spin attack to remove the pumpkins from the Goombas before trying to defeat them.
Boos can only be defeated by shining a light on them. Make sure you activate the spotlight switch!
As Boo Mario, your invisibility is key to passing through certain walls. Don't forget you can fly too!
