Alright, let's go grab that star from the Freezing Pond! You're looking for a Power Star hidden in a yellow box. The pond itself is pretty nasty – just being in the water drains your health, so we need to be careful.

First things first, follow the path to your right from the start and head for the tree. This tree is your warp to the freezing pond area. Once you're there, you'll want to make your way to the far side of the section with those moving mounds of snow. Keep an eye out for a Spindrift, which is like a little ice creature, right in the water.

You'll need to use the Spindrift to get to a ledge. It's best to wait for it to come out of the water a bit before you jump on. Once you're on the Spindrift, wait for the right moment and jump off towards the ledge. As soon as you leap off, hold forward on your controller. This should help you land right on the ledge. You'll see two yellow boxes up there. The Power Star is in the one on the left!

Alternative Method: If you mess up with the Spindrift, don't worry! There's another way to get onto that ledge. After you warp in, look for the steep slope right behind the signpost near the tree. The spot to the right of the tree on this slope is perfect for a Triple Jump. Make sure your second jump lands on solid ground, and then try to get your third jump as high up the slope as you can. If you time it right, you can jump onto the ledge. From there, it's just a short run to the yellow box containing the star.
