Layout of Peach's Castle

Explore the layout of Peach's Castle in Super Mario 3D All-Stars. Discover the locations of all courses and secret stars across the Main Lobby, Basement, Second Floor, and Top Floor.

Princess Peach’s castle is divided into four main areas. The Main Lobby, accessible through the front doors, contains four main courses and five Castle Secret Stars. While 8 stars are needed to progress to the next hub, 10 stars are required to access everything in this area. Courses and stars found here include: Bob-Omb Battlefield, Whomp’s Fortress, Jolly Roger Bay, Cool, Cool Mountain, The Princess’ Secret Slide, The Secret Aquarium, Tower of the Wing Cap, and Bowser in the Dark World. Big Boo’s Haunt becomes available after collecting 12 stars and is located through wooden doors in the main lobby, down a hall, and into an outdoor area with a fountain.

Upon clearing Bowser in the Dark World, a key unlocks the Castle Basement. This area features four more main courses and six Castle Secret Stars. The door to Dire, Dire Docks and Bowser in the Fire Sea requires 30 Power Stars. The courses and stars in the basement are: Hazy Maze Cave, Lethal Lava Land, Shifting Sand Land, Dire, Dire Docks, MIPS, the Yellow Rabbit, Vanish Cap Under the Moat, Cavern of the Metal Cap, and Bowser in the Fire Sea.

Clearing Bowser in the Fire Sea grants another key, opening the locked door at the top of the stairs in the Main Lobby to access the Castle’s Second Floor. This floor has four courses with no star requirements: Snowman’s Land, Wet-Dry World, Tall, Tall Mountain, and Tiny-Huge Island.

To reach the Castle’s Top Floor, players need at least 50 Power Stars. This floor contains the final two courses and two more secret stars. Reaching the final Bowser stage requires at least 70 stars; otherwise, the stairs leading to it will be endless. The courses on the top floor are: Tick Tock Clock, Rainbow Ride, Wing Mario Over the Rainbow, and Bowser in the Sky.
