Hot-Foot-It Into the Volcano

Ready to tackle the volcano in Lethal Lava Land? This guide walks you through entering the volcano and finding the star in Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

Alright, you've snagged all the stars outside the volcano, so it's finally time to head inside! To make things easiest, take the path with the pyramid-shaped platforms. You know, the one right at the initial fork? Just jump in there!

Once you're inside, you'll see two paths. For now, stick to the normal one. It's pretty straightforward, just watch out for the fire jets shooting out of the walls. You'll eventually run into a Bully, but don't worry about him – you can just sprint right past it.

Keep an eye out for a ledge just past that Bully. A piece of the wall will try to crush you as you get close, so be ready to move! After that, you'll encounter some small platforms. If you're running low on health, look for a spinning heart on one of them – grab it to recover!

Continue making your way up the volcano. You'll face more flamethrowers and another Bully, but just keep pushing forward. You'll come across a lavafall with a small bridge. Be super careful here not to get knocked off – it's a long way down!

You're almost there! Just past the lavafall, you'll see some poles you can climb. The highest one has a 1-Up at the very top, so if you're feeling brave, go for it! From the end of the poles, jump off to find the star waiting for you. You did it!
