Master the 'A Very Spooky Sprint' mission in Super Mario 3D All-Stars' Ghostly Galaxy. Learn how to navigate obstacles like Meaty Obstacles, Spooky Skeleton bones, and Floating Mines to win the race and earn a Power Star.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
From the Toad Spaceship, take the Launch Star to the Mansion grounds. You can choose to defeat or avoid the Bats and Pumpkinhead Goombas.
  2. 2
Head to the archway and use the Pull Stars to reach the mansion.
  3. 3
Use the Launch Star to travel to a new planet.
  4. 4
Approach the large Boo in a visor and helmet, the Spooky Speedster, to begin the race.
  5. 5
Use the Pull Stars to navigate the race course.
  6. 6
Be aware of the following obstacles:
    • Meaty Obstacles: These structures will bounce you back if you collide with them, slowing your progress.
  7. 7
Spooky Skeleton bones: These moving bone structures will break your link with a Pull Star and send you back to the start if hit. Quickly grab another Pull Star to recover.
  8. 8
Pull Star Planets: These planets will slow you down; avoid running on them and instead go over or around them.
  9. 9
Floating Mines: Near the end, navigate around these explosive mines. Hitting one will slow you down but allows you to quickly grab another Pull Star.
  10. 10
If you lose the race, you will need to start again and will lose a life.
  11. 11
If you win the race, you will earn a Power Star.
Tips
  • The Meaty Obstacles will bounce you around, making navigation tricky.
  • If you hit Spooky Skeleton bones, you'll be sent back to the beginning of the race, so be ready to grab another Pull Star immediately.
  • Avoid running on Pull Star Planets to maintain speed.
  • Floating Mines can slow you down if hit, but you can quickly recover by grabbing another Pull Star.
  • Power Star (upon winning the race)
  • Lose a life (upon losing the race)
