Chill with the Bully

Learn how to defeat the Chill Bully in Super Mario 64. Follow our guide to navigate the icy platform and grab the star!

Alright, so you've picked up the star and you're dropped into the course. Your first move is to head to the right. Just hug the edge of the area, going past that tree warp you might've used before. Keep moving along, and you'll spot a familiar enemy chilling on a platform above a frozen pond. That's your target!

Head up the slope nearby to get onto the platform. This is the Chill Bully, and honestly, it's pretty much the same as the ones you fought back in Lethal Lava Land. Your best bet is still using Jump Kicks to push it back. Just be aware that this platform is icy, so you'll be sliding around a bit.

Warning: If you fall into the water below the platform, it acts just like lava, so Mario will take damage. If you get stuck under the ice, you're probably going to lose a life.

The main goal here is super simple: just knock the Chill Bully off its platform. Once you do that, the star is yours!
