Alright, let's get started on Episode 1 of Bianco Hills in Super Mario Sunshine! This is the one where we're heading towards that big windmill. To get there, you'll first need to find the entrance, which is that big 'Rainbow M' on the side of the Grand Pianto Statue in Bianco Square, Delfino Plaza. Easy enough to spot!

First things first, follow the brick path until you see some sprinklers. These make the path nice and wet, perfect for sliding! To get going, press Y to dive and slide down the wet path. It's pretty fast, so hold on!

When you reach the end of the slide, you'll see a river. Jump up and grab the rope there to swing yourself over to the other side.

Once you're across, look for a red arrow sign pointing towards a fence between two buildings. You can hop over this fence pretty easily. The quickest way is probably a sideways somersault – just run, do a quick U-turn, and press B. Alternatively, a triple jump will also get you over.

After you clear the fence, you'll notice a pile of goo and some Strollin' Stus. These guys will keep coming as long as the graffiti goo is there, so your first job is to spray the goo with water. You can also spray the Strollin' Stus to defeat them if you prefer.

Once the goo is gone, follow the red arrow signs. You'll come to a path blocked by the mill's wheel. Just hop onto the wheel and ride it up to the top, then jump off on the other side.

Keep walking into the field, and you'll see a lot more graffiti goo. Look for a small mound of goo sitting on a slight hill to the north. You might need to spray some of the ground goo away to make a clear path to it.

When you reach that goo mound, spray it with water for a bit. This will make a Gatekeeper – that's the gooey Piranha Plant boss – pop out!

To defeat the Gatekeeper, just keep spraying its head with water. It takes about three hits. Once it's down, all the goo in the area will vanish, and best of all, a Shine Sprite will appear! Grab it to finish the episode!

Tips

Sliding down the wet paths is way faster than running, so don't miss those opportunities!
The sideways somersault is a really useful move for clearing obstacles like that fence. Practice it!
Don't forget to clear the graffiti goo first; it's the source of the Strollin' Stus.
