Hey there! Ready to tackle the 'Giant Eel Outbreak' in Drip Drop Galaxy? This is the only star available in this galaxy, so let's get it done! First off, you'll need to unlock this galaxy by feeding the Hungry Luma outside the Kitchen dome 600 Star Bits. Once that's done, hop into the Star Launcher near the Library Dome, and you'll be on your way.

When you arrive, a friendly penguin will greet you and explain that the Giant Eels are messing up their fishing spot. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to take down all 3 of these big guys!

Walkthrough

You'll be in the water, so get ready to swim! The key to defeating these eels lies in using the shells scattered around. To pick one up, just swim close to it and press the Y button.

Once you've got a shell, swim up close to one of the Giant Eels.

Now, press Y again to launch the shell. Aim for the eel! The red shells are your best bet here – they act like homing missiles, making it much easier to land a direct hit.

Keep in mind that while you're busy with the eels, you'll also have to deal with pesky Torpedo Teds. They'll chase after you, so be aware of your surroundings.

You can use the shells to take out the Torpedo Teds too, or if you prefer, you can try to guide them into the various chests floating around. These chests can contain helpful items like Spiny Cheep-Cheeps or even 1-Up Mushrooms!

Repeat this process until all 3 Giant Eels are defeated.

Once you've successfully taken down all the Giant Eels, a Power Star will appear right above the sunken ship. Grab it to complete the mission!

Tips

Don't forget that the red shells are your best friend for hitting the eels.
Keep an eye out for Torpedo Teds and use them to your advantage if you can, either by defeating them or guiding them into chests.
Grab any 1-Up Mushrooms you find – you never know when you might need an extra life!
