Alright, let's dive into the Cavern of the Metal Cap! This is a pretty straightforward level, and the main goal here is to snag all eight Red Coins to earn a bonus Power Star. The star of the show in this level is the Metal Cap, which makes Mario totally invincible to enemies and lets him walk around underwater like it's no big deal. Just remember, even as a metalhead, you can still take damage from falling!

Most of the Red Coins are clustered towards the end of the level. You'll want to follow the path of enemies and platforms until you reach a small bridge. Just past that, you'll find a little alcove with two pillars. There's a 1-Up mushroom chilling there, and importantly, two of our Red Coins are right nearby. Keep an eye out for a green switch – two more Red Coins are hanging out right next to it.

First things first, you need to hit that green switch. This will make the green blocks in the area solid. Now, head over to the platform that's right next to the switch and grab the Metal Cap. You'll absolutely need it for the final stretch. The last four Red Coins are waiting for you in the water, circling the pillar that has the green switch. The current in the water is pretty strong, so the Metal Cap is essential here to avoid getting swept away. Once you've collected all eight Red Coins, the Power Star will appear right there in the water with you. Grab it and you're golden!
