Adrammelech

Adrammelech offers licenses that benefit specific jobs. The Black Mage gains Hand Bombs 2, and the Bushi gains Souleater. The Time Battlemage gains White Magick 4, useful for casting Cura and Raise. The Shikari can gain Shades of Black, which is situationally useful for magick-focused Shikari. The Foebreaker, Uhlan, and White Mage all gain Battle Lore, a boost to Attack Power. However, White Mage can access similar benefits through other Esper pairings (Knight, Red Battlemage, Uhlan). The Uhlan and Foebreaker both benefit from Battle Lore. Considering popular job combinations like Uhlan/Time Battlemage and Shikari/Foebreaker, Adrammelech can enhance these by providing White Magick 4 and Shades of Black respectively. The Shikari/Foebreaker is recommended as a dedicated melee attacker, making Adrammelech a good fit. Otherwise, assign it to Uhlan/Time Battlemage.

Belias

Belias, the first obtainable Esper, provides less impressive licenses. Horology is generally not very useful, and Libra is redundant as most classes already have it. The Knight can gain Potion Lore 1, which is its primary benefit.

Chaos

Chaos offers significant benefits to several jobs. The Archer gains Magick Lore x5, the Knight gains Excalipur, HP 10, and Revive, and the Monk gains White Magick 11 and White Magick 12. While the Knight's licenses can be bypassed via Quickening licenses, and the Archer/Red Battlemage combo can access Magick Power licenses through the Red Battlemage, the Monk is the top choice. White Magick 11 grants Holy and Esunaga, while White Magick 12 grants Protectga and Shellga, making the Black Mage/Monk combo exceptionally powerful.

Cuchulainn

Cuchulainn provides Wither for the Uhlan and Shades of Black for the Foebreaker, adding versatility. The Machinist gains Magick Lore, and the Knight gains another Battle Lore. Note that the Machinist can obtain Magick Lore without an Esper by pairing with White Mage. The White Mage can obtain Libra, and the Bushi can learn Stamp by assigning Cuchulainn.

The Red Battlemage and Shikari are the primary beneficiaries. The Red Battlemage gains access to Black Magick 8-9, granting Blizzaga, Firaga, Thundaga, and Sleepga, significantly enhancing their offensive magick capabilities. The Shikari gains White Magick 12, including Protectga and Shellga. These buffs are useful even without high Magick Power. While the Monk can also gain these spells via Chaos, having a second buffer is valuable. However, assigning Cuchulainn to the Red Battlemage to function as a secondary Black Mage is often more beneficial than a tertiary support caster.
