Return to Rabanastre's Sandsea and accept the Croakadile Mark hunt from the Notice Board. This beast appears in the Giza Plains during the rain. While there, also pick up the Enkelados hunt.

Exit Rabanastre via the Southgate and enter the Giza Plains. Observe the changes: low areas are now flooded, altering the terrain. New enemies like Gigantoads and Ichthons have migrated here, alongside more powerful Hyenas.

In the Throne Road area, defeat Gigantoads and Hyenas. Navigate around the central pond to reach the Nomad Camp. Find a Withered Tree on the western shore of the pond (south of a trap) and attack it to send it floating downstream, potentially opening new paths.

Proceed to the Nomad Camp. Speak with Sadeen near the Cockatrice pen to officially start the "A Ring in the Rain" hunt for Croakadile.
