Garamsythe Waterway

Make your way to the North Sprawl and head to the door leading to Storehouse 5.

Talk to Kytes in Storehouse 5. He will open the door to the Garamsythe Waterway for you. You will receive 2 Potions and 4 Eye Drops for talking to him.

The first area is the Central Spur Stairs, which acts as a hub. You'll find a Save Crystal here.

Head west up some stairs to the Northern Sluiceway area.

Before going to the Northern Sluiceway, go east to the No. 10 Channel area to find some loot.

In the No. 10 Channel, follow the path to find Dire Rats. These enemies have around 90 HP, deal about 10 damage per attack, and are weak to Water. They can drop Rat Pelts, Fire Stones, Leather Shields, and can be stolen from for Rat Pelts, Gil, or Libra Gems.

Continue through the No. 10 Channel to find a chest that can spawn. This chest may contain a Mace, a Phoenix Down, or Gil. You may need to leave and re-enter the area for the chest to spawn and to get the desired item.

Return to the Central Spur Stairs and head west to the Northern Sluiceway.

From the Northern Sluiceway entrance, go north up a ramp and defeat more Dire Rats.

When a canal blocks your path north, turn east and cross a metal bridge.

After crossing the bridge, turn south and head downhill to find Steelings. These flying enemies are weak to Ice. They can drop Wind Stones, Antidotes, Bat Fangs, and Phoenix Downs. You can steal Bat Fangs, Teleport Stones, and Potions from them.

Continue east until you reach a large waterway. You can chain Dire Rats in this area and back to the No. 10 Channel for Gil by selling drops like Fire Stones and Rat Pelts.
