Behemoth King

To make the Behemoth King appear in The Feywood, The Edge of Reason, you must first defeat the Giruveganus in the same area, and all 29 enemies in the Ice Field of Clearsight.

Return to The Edge of Reason; the Behemoth King should spawn where the Giruveganus was. If not, revisit the Ice Field of Clearsight to check for respawned enemies.

Begin the fight by dispelling any buffs the Behemoth King has.

He will initially cast magicks like Holy, Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, Darkga, and Ardor.

At a certain HP threshold, he will activate a physical or magickal paling.

If the magickal paling is active, he will use physical attacks and White Breath (which can inflict Stop).

If the physical paling is active, he will use the aforementioned magicks.

The palings will cycle throughout the battle, so adjust your strategy based on which one is active.

When low on health, he uses Growing Threat, doubling his level to 70 and increasing his strength.

Use non-elemental magicks like Shock, as he halves all elemental magicks and is immune to ailments.

After defeating him, return to Koqmihn for the initial reward.

To claim the hidden reward, travel to Mt. Bur-Omisale and find the wyrm statue.

When close enough, and with Vaan unequipped of his weapon, you will see a prompt for the “wyrm snout.” Interact with it to receive 500,000 Gil and a Rod of Faith.
