Defeat the Behemoth King Elite Mark hunt in final fantasy xii. Learn spawn conditions, strategy, and how to get 500,000 Gil and Rod of Faith.
Walkthrough
- 1To make the Behemoth King appear in The Feywood, The Edge of Reason, you must first defeat the Giruveganus in the same area, and all 29 enemies in the Ice Field of Clearsight.
- 2Return to The Edge of Reason; the Behemoth King should spawn where the Giruveganus was. If not, revisit the Ice Field of Clearsight to check for respawned enemies.
- 3Begin the fight by dispelling any buffs the Behemoth King has.
- 4He will initially cast magicks like Holy, Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, Darkga, and Ardor.
- 5At a certain HP threshold, he will activate a physical or magickal paling.
- 6If the magickal paling is active, he will use physical attacks and White Breath (which can inflict Stop).
- 7If the physical paling is active, he will use the aforementioned magicks.
- 8The palings will cycle throughout the battle, so adjust your strategy based on which one is active.
- 9When low on health, he uses Growing Threat, doubling his level to 70 and increasing his strength.
- 10Use non-elemental magicks like Shock, as he halves all elemental magicks and is immune to ailments.
- 11After defeating him, return to Koqmihn for the initial reward.
- 12To claim the hidden reward, travel to Mt. Bur-Omisale and find the wyrm statue.
- 13When close enough, and with Vaan unequipped of his weapon, you will see a prompt for the “wyrm snout.” Interact with it to receive 500,000 Gil and a Rod of Faith.
Tips
- The Behemoth King has 1,668,491 HP and is level 70.
- He resists all elements (halves damage) and is immune to all status effects except Sap and Oil.
- You can steal Ring Wyrm Scale, Behemoth Steak, and Elixir.
- The fight can be long due to his high HP and level-doubling ability.
