Faerie Village (Final Visit)

Learn what to buy and what to skip at the Faerie Village shop in Dragon Quest III. Get the Prayer Ring and Elfin Elixir before it's too late!

Alright, we're heading back to Faerie Village for a final shopping trip! Remember how those Faeries were a bit... unwelcoming before? Well, now that you've got the Mod Rod, you can change your form into a Dwarf or a Faerie. This is super important because it's the only way to get them to let you into their shops!

When you zoom to Faerie Village, make sure you've got your Mod Rod handy. Use it to transform so you can actually browse their wares. A lot of the items here aren't really worth your Gold, but there are a couple of real gems you don't want to miss.

The absolute must-buys are the Prayer Ring and the Elfin Elixir. Seriously, as far as I know, the Prayer Ring is only available here, so grab a few if you can. The Elfin Elixir is also incredibly useful, though it's pretty pricey. You'll want to stock up on these before you do anything that might make you lose the Mod Rod, because you won't be able to shop here again without it.

• The Angel's Robe is pretty neat, as it gives you a 50% chance to evade Instant Death spells.
• The Being a Better Person book will teach your character the Good Egg personality, which can be useful for certain situations.
