Walkthrough
- 1Zoom to Theddon. Ensure your party is healed and well-equipped.
- 2Confirm it is Night time. If not, use the Night Light spell to change it to night.
- 3Proceed to the north of town to find the prison.
- 4Open the Ultimate Key door and speak to the prisoner. A cutscene will play, followed by a boss battle.
Boss Battle:
- Formation: Dying Fire, Phantasm x2, Dying Fire, Phantasm, Dying Fire
- Phantasm: HP 340, MP 230, Attack 108, Defence 198, Agility 74, EXP 1,060, Gold 32. Abilities: Attack, Calls for Back-up, Paralysis Attack, Spooky Aura. Spells: Bang.
- Dying Fire: HP 559, MP 180, Attack 125, Defence 176, Agility 79, EXP 1,990, Gold 145. Abilities: Attack, Calls for Back-up, Sleep Attack, Wind Sickles. Spells: Swoosh, Whack.
- Drop: Recovery Ring (from Dying Fire).
Strategy:
- This battle can be challenging, especially before learning 'Hit All' spells like 'Boom'.
- Both enemy types can 'Call for Back-up', making group-hitting attacks less effective if enemies aren't grouped.
- Strategy 1: Prioritize defeating all Phantasms first. Then, focus on the Dying Fires, aiming to group them together for powerful 'Hit Group' attacks. Defeat the grouped Dying Fires in a single round to prevent reinforcements.
- Strategy 2: Damage all enemies until they are near death. On your final turn, attempt to defeat all monsters simultaneously to avoid reinforcements.
- Any ability that can 'Hit All' enemies is highly recommended.
- You will receive the Green Orb for defeating the enemies.
- You will also be awarded the achievement Playing with the Dead for defeating the Dying Fires.
Notes:
- There are a total of six Orbs to collect, which are necessary to reach Baramos' Lair.
- Once collected, bring all the Orbs to the frozen island of Rimland in the southwest part of the world.
