Walkthrough
  1. 1
The Kidnapper's Cave is located northeast of Baharata. Cross the bridge southeast of Baharata, go north into the forest, and cross the bridge west to reach the cave.
  2. 2
Northwest of the entrance, find the Friendly Monster Mushroom Mage (Mush). To the northeast, barrels contain a Prayer Ring and 641 Gold.
  3. 3
From the stairs, go west three chambers. In the third chamber, find the Friendly Monster Cannibox (Yum Yum) which can be captured with Padfoot. Return to the start.
  4. 4
From the stairs, go west one room, then north to the top of the floor (through a door). The north chest is a Cannibox Monster, and the east chest has 484 Gold.
  5. 5
Go west one room to find a solo chest to the north containing Mini Medal #34.
  6. 6
Go west into the next room. Ignore the west chest (Cannibox Monster) and open the north chest for Care Riviere.
  7. 7
Exit south, then go west at the first intersection. At the next intersection, go all the way north and search the ground for a Care Ring (Good Egg).
  8. 8
Return to the previous intersection, then go south two intersections. Check the west barrel for a Seed of Wisdom.
  9. 9
Go east two chambers to find a Blue Soldier and a barrel with 337 Gold.
  10. 10
Go east one chamber, then south one chamber to find a barrel with Magic Water.
  11. 11
Go all the way south, then all the way west to the southwest-most chamber. Find a chest with an Iron Helmet.
  12. 12
Go all the way east to find stairs leading down to Basement 2.
  13. 13
On Basement 2, go all the way west, ignoring the southern path. Use the Magic Key door to the northwest to find a treasure room containing: Iron Axe, Elfin Elixir, Full Plate Armour, and Prayer Ring.
  14. 14
Return to the previous room and take the southern path. Heal up before entering the south room.
  15. 15
In the southern room, you will encounter familiar thugs. Answer "No" to initiate a "boss" battle against Robbin' 'Oodlum.
  16. 16
After the battle, head south into the room. Check the wall bag to the west for 1,760 Gold.
  17. 17
Go south to the bottom of the room to find the daughter and Gopal in jail. Speak with them if desired. Take the east path to find a barrel beside the cell door containing Sage's Elixir.
  18. 18
Reach the Lever in the bottom left corner of the room to set them free.
  19. 19
While they dance, search the top left corner of Gopal's cell for 240 Gold. Search the top right corner of Tanaya's cell for a Rabbit Tail (Happy Camper).
  20. 20
Heal up before heading north, as a boss fight with a familiar face awaits.
Tips
  • The Kidnapper's Cave is a 4x6 grid of identical rooms, making it easy to get lost. Focus on reaching the far North and far South.
  • Mimic Chests (Cannibox) are present; it's recommended to ignore them as they don't offer rewards for defeating them.
  • For the "boss" battle against Robbin' 'Oodlum, use multi-target weapons and spells. Cast Kabuff on your party and Kasap on the enemies. The Priest can use Woosh. Melee fighters should attack, and Heal when necessary.
  • The enemy can cast Kasap, which can make the battle more difficult.
  • You can exit the dungeon to restock, heal, and save, then return if desired.
