- 1First things first, let's grab that special sword. Head south from the main part of Portoga until you reach a small island area out on the water.
- 2Once you're on the island, find the lady there and speak with her. She'll give you the Siren Sword.
- 3Now, about this sword: it's a bit of a unique item. It can only be equipped by female characters. In battle, you can even use it as an item to cast the spell Fuddle, which can confuse enemies. However, be aware that its attack power isn't as high as some other swords you might find, so it's more of a novelty or utility weapon at this stage.
- 4Next up is an optional visit to the Pirate's Den. This place is located east of Aliahan. Make sure you go there at night.
- 5When you arrive at the Pirate's Den at night, speak with the Pirate Queen. You'll get some new dialogue, and importantly, your character's Personality will change to Amazon.
Tips
- The curse that affected the lovers in Portoga was lifted after Baramos was defeated. You'll find them just south of the town's main entrance, and speaking to the lady is how you get the Siren Sword.
- Changing your Personality to Amazon at the Pirate's Den is completely optional. While it's an interesting change, it's not required to progress the main story, so don't feel pressured to do it if you're focused on the main quest.
