Walkthrough
- 1From Cantlin, return north to the bridge and cross back west.
- 2Head southwest through the forest until you reach the next bridge.
- 3Cross the bridge to the east and continue southeastward through a forest and into a desert.
- 4Continue through the desert until you see the Shrine of Spirit located in the middle of a poisonous swamp.
- 5Take the stairs up to the second floor.
- 6Speak with the Servant of Rubiss for a cutscene. You will receive the Staff of Rain and be fully healed.
- 7Search the center ornament rug for Mini Medal #91.
- 8Search the northeast corner for a Silver Rosary.
Tips
- The Staff of Rain can be equipped by the Priest, Mage, or Sage. While it has low physical damage, it can be USED in battle to cast Frizzle for free. It is a temporary item.
- The Faeries in the Shrine of the Spirit are noted to be similar to those in Faerie Village. The Faerie mentions liking Ortega.
- In Dragon Quest 1, the desert surrounding the Shrine of the Spirit was covered in poisonous swamps, and the Hero had to find the Mark of Erdrick here.
