Walkthrough

    Enter the Inn on the west side of Reeve and use a Thief Key to open the door on Floor 1. Check the pot for a Seed of Magic.

    Exit the Inn and go to the northeast part of town. Use a Thief Key on the door and check the pot in the northeast corner of Floor 1 for a Seed of Wisdom.

    Head upstairs and check the drawer for a Leather Hat.

    Speak to the Old Man and answer "Yes" when prompted. He will give you the Wrecking Ball, which is needed to leave this continent.

    Exit town and follow the fields eastward into the mountains. Find Sparkly Spot #4 on top of a hill containing Coagulant and a Chimaera Wing.

    South of Sparkly Spot #4, find a Secret Spot in the hills. Inside are two barrels containing 90 gold and a Wizard's Staff.

    The Wizard's Staff is the first piece of equipment in the game that can be Used as an item during battle. In order for a piece of equipment to be Used in battle, it must first be in a character's inventory. The Wizard's Staff can be used to cast the spell Frizz for free.

    Continue west to find Sparkly Spot #5, which contains a Seed of Agility, three Antidotal Herbs, and a Seed of Strength.

    Follow the southern beach eastward to find Sparkly Spot #6, which contains two Holy Waters and a Tangleweb.

    Go north a bit, up the hill, to find a house with another Thief Key door. Check the pots for Mini Medal #6 and a Chimaera Wing.

    The bookshelf in this house has a tutorial on Boomerangs and Whips.

    Speak with the old man to learn about the Path of Promise, which is further north from this house.
