Starting Your Adventure

Learn how to start your adventure in Dragon Quest III, manage save files, and adjust settings from the title screen.

When you power up Dragon Quest III and reach the title screen, you will see the following options:

• Venture Forth: Access the Adventure Log Menu.
• Exit Game: Closes the game.

The Adventure Log Menu offers these choices:

• Venture Forth: Select one of the three hard save files to continue your adventure.
• Continue from Autosave: The game frequently auto-saves.
• Language: Choose your Text and/or Voice languages.
• Video/Misc. Settings: Modify Display, Graphics, and Input settings.

Within the Venture Forth option, you can:

• Choose an Adventure Log: Select a previous save to load.
• Create a New Adventure Log: Start a new game by selecting an available slot.
• Delete an Adventure Log: Permanently delete one of the three hard save files.

Warning: Once a save file is deleted, it is gone for good.
