Walkthrough

    To reach Jipang, use the Zoom spell to travel to Wayfarer's Inn, then sail southeast to the small island.

    From the eastern entrance of Jipang, go to the northeast corner of the map to find the Friendly Monster Catula (Luna). You will need a Fading Jenny to capture it.

    Search the ground where Catula was to find 600 Gold.

    Return south, then go west and enter the northeastern building.

    Search the top left corner for Hardwood Headwear and the wall bag on the right for a Seed of Wisdom.

    Exit the building and go west to find a well. Enter the well.

    Search the jagged rocks to the southeast for a Dummy (Spoilt Brat).

    Exit the well and enter the northwest building.

    Search the wall bag on the back right wall for Coagulant and the pot on the west wall for a Seed of Magic.

    Exit the building and head west to find stairs leading down. Go down.

    Search the pot in the southwest corner for a Seed of Strength and the pot on the east wall for Mini Medal #45.

    Search the topmost pot in the gap to the east to find Yayoi.

    Exit the basement and head south to the west side of the southern most building.

    Search the pot on the west wall for Magic Water.

    Enter the building on the east side and search the cabinet just below the door for Plain Clothes.

    Exit the building and head north toward the Palace.

    Before entering the Palace, go west at ground level to the far west side and search the ground for a Dragon Scale.

    Once inside, take the west path to the far west side. Go north into the room and search the pot at the back right corner for a Seed of Magic.

    Return to the intersection and go to the far east side of the Palace.

    Go north into the first room and search the pot on the left for a Seed of Strength and the pot on the right for Mini Medal #46.

    Enter the northern most room and search the left cabinet for a Scale Shield, then the right cabinet for Training Togs.

    Make sure it is Night. At Night, search the ponds at the southeast part of town for the Friendly Monster Overtoad (Croaker).

  • You can speak to the residents of Jipang, including the Queen, though they may not be very helpful.
