How to Find Slider's Stash

Unlocking the 'Voodoo Treasure' Side Job: First things first, you need to actually get this quest to show up. It all starts way back during the main job 'I’ve Seen That Face Before'. When you're sneaking into the netrunner twins' car trunk, you'll have a chance to eavesdrop on them. Make sure you pick the dialogue options like _”Hold on, wanna eavesdrop.”_, _”It’s ok, chill.”_, or _”Gimme a sec!”_. This is crucial because you need to hear Aurore mention a file called “Blind_n_Dead”. If you miss this, you won't get the quest later. You might think eavesdropping will make taking over their car harder, and it does add a timed segment, but if you have 15 Intelligence, you can pick the dialogue option _[Intelligence 15] “ICE here - clearly optimizable.”_ to calibrate their ICE and get more time, making it a non-issue. After you take the twins to Reed and Alex, you'll need to jack into Aurore's corpse. When you do, make sure you select the option _Search file - Blind_n_Dead_ before picking the main quest prompt. This will finally trigger the 'Voodoo Treasure' side job. However, you won't be able to progress until you've completed the main job 'Firestarter'.

Finding Slider's Stash: Once 'Firestarter' is done (whether you went with Songbird or Reed, it doesn't matter), you'll finally have free roam of Dogtown again. Your next destination is the Needle, which is that big obelisk-like structure in the middle of the road, west of Mr. Hands' pyramid. If you get lost, just head away from the Stadium on the main road and you should spot it. The quest marker should also lead you right to it. You want to get to the base of the Needle. The easiest way is to drop through the triangular glass panes from above, but following the quest trail will get you there too. Fun fact: the 'Gig: Heaviest of Hearts' also starts around here.

Opening the Stash: Once you're at the base of the Needle, a search area will pop up on your minimap. You're looking for a specific spot along the walls. Keep an eye out for a blue sign that says “Aesculapius Inc.” Just beneath that sign, you'll see a toppled-over vending machine – the game calls it a “Spontaneous Craving Satisfaction Machine”, but yeah, it's a vending machine. Examine the front of this machine, and you'll find a number pad. This is where you enter the code: 941229. After you punch in the numbers, the keypad will change to an “Open” command. Press it again, and a panel on the machine will slide open.
