Defeat the Tyger Claw Bosses

If you're looking to stir up some trouble, you'll want to pick specific dialogue options. When the moment comes, choose either _”[Draw weapon] Let’s cut to the quick.”_ or declare Clouds' independence with _”Clouds declares its independence.”_ or _”Clouds will be a doll collective.”_. This will definitely get the Tyger Claw bosses riled up.

After you've dealt with them, you'll need to talk to Maiko. She'll present you with a couple of choices:

• _”What?”_
• _”I do. Either you leave Clouds or I kill you next.”_

Be warned, saying _”I do. Either you leave Clouds or I kill you next.”_ will make Maiko attack you. If you want to avoid another fight, stick with _”What?”_. Even then, she'll give you a few more lines to choose from:

• _”Can’t know that for sure.”_
• _”That’s no longer your problem.”_

Out of these, only _”Can’t know that for sure.”_ will prevent Maiko from attacking. She might come at you with a machete, but she's not too tough to handle. Just a heads-up, how Maiko's fate plays out here doesn't really change the main story much, but Judy will react differently depending on your choices.

Maiko’s Power Grab

If you'd rather keep the peace and put Maiko in charge, you'll need to select dialogue options like _”Maiko’ll run things as she does now. Only officially so.”_ or _”Maiko is taking over Clouds.”_. This essentially demotes Hiromi.

Once the bosses are dealt with (or if you avoided fighting them), follow Maiko outside. She'll offer you a reward for your troubles. This is where another crucial choice comes in:

• _”Thanks”_: You accept the reward, which angers Judy.
• _”Don’t want your eddies.”_: You refuse the reward, keeping Judy happy and your options open for her questline and potential romance.

Taking the reward, _”Thanks.”_, nets you a cool €$12,040. However, accepting this money locks you out of the final job in Judy's questline and any chance of romancing her. If you choose _”Don’t want your eddies.”_, you keep the door open for Judy's questline and her romance. It's a tough call between immediate cash and a potentially deeper connection.
