Down on the Street

Follow our guide to complete the 'Down on the Street' mission in Cyberpunk 2077, including meeting Takemura and gathering intel from Wakako.

Alright, so you just finished up 'Playing for Time,' and now it's time to dive into the next part of Takemura's story with 'Down on the Street.' This is the first in a chain of quests that includes 'Gimme Danger,' 'Play it Safe,' and 'Search and Destroy.' Don't worry if Takemura doesn't call you right away; just give it some time, and he'll eventually reach out to set up a meeting, kicking off this mission.

First things first, you need to head over to where Takemura wants to meet. It's near the Japantown West fast travel point in Westbrook, just across the bridge from Kabuki in Watson. Follow the quest marker to the location, and when you get there, interact with a concrete barrier to wait for him.

Once Takemura arrives, have a chat with him. After that, you'll meet his contact. Say your piece during the negotiations, and when things wrap up, Takemura will ask for your input on who to talk to next. Your best bet is to recommend Wakako. Then, you'll ride with Takemura to meet her at her usual spot on Jig-Jig Street. Talk to her, get the intel she has, and then chat with Takemura again. He'll say he'll call you in about a day. To speed things up, just skip time until he calls, and 'Down on the Street' will officially conclude, leading straight into the next quest, 'Gimme Danger.'
