Walkthrough

    Follow the quest trail through the crowd and up stairs. You cannot use weapons or quickhacks at this point.

    Reach double doors. If you get in a sniper’s line of sight, you’ll be warned by Takemura and must quickly get back in cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) to avoid an instant kill.

    To reach the first sniper:
    • Option 1: Go through the double doors, jump over a mine, turn left, jack into an Access Point in a laptop [Intelligence 6] if desired, then climb a ladder. Atop the ladder, climb a ledge and turn left to spot the sniper.

    Option 2: From the double doors, turn right and look up for pipes. If you have double jump, reach a ledge behind the pipes, follow the path left, then right, down a metal walkway, then left. Climb a ledge opposite the ladder and turn left to find the sniper.

    Option 3: From the double doors, turn left, round a corner right near vending machines, and continue forward to find two ladders. Climb the ladder going up to face the sniper.

    Once you reach the first sniper's platform, you can use weapons and quickhacks, or perform a takedown.

    To reach the second sniper:
    • Option 1 (Down the Hatch): Descend the ladder opposite the first sniper's platform, then go down another ladder to find a hatch. Use a quickhack to open it, drop into a tunnel, dispatch two Arasaka guards, go through a window, and climb a ladder. Continue forward, drop down to take out an Arasaka Soldier, then go through a door to reach the sniper's building. Avoid the mine on the wall under the window if you choose the window route. Put down the sniper, and optionally hack a computer [Intelligence 6].

    Option 2 (Up the Elevator): Cross ducts opposite the first sniper's platform to reach a balcony. Walk through crowds and get on an elevator. Choose to go to the "21. Balcony" level. Exit the elevator, turn right, then left to find a door. Inside, you may find a locked gate [Technical Ability 11] containing the iconic weapon Genjiroh and a gun box. Use the "Door Terminal" on the wall to the right of the door with code "2906" to open it if you lack the Technical Ability. Head back outside, follow the balcony past the door, and find a ladder leading up. Climb it, cross a walkway (part collapses), jump the gap, and continue crossing.
Tips
  • The first sniper's location is on a platform.
  • You can perform a takedown on the first sniper; there's no need to hide the body or remain quiet.
  • Takemura may be unable to open a hatch, but you can if you have quickhacking abilities.
  • Be wary of an Arasaka Soldier near the second sniper's building; wait for him to move or use a silenced weapon.
  • There is a mine on the wall under the window leading to the second sniper's building.
  • The elevator to the second sniper has two options: "20. Balcony" for trivial loot and "21. Balcony" for progression.
