Practice Makes Perfect

Combat Training: Pick up a pistol ([Square]), aim ([L2]), and fire ([R2]). Reload with [Square]. Shoot targets, then shoot them again when they move.

Assault Rifle & Cover: Pick up an assault rifle. An enemy will appear; take cover ([Circle]) when it fires. Aim and fire from cover.

Healing: After the fight, pick up a MaxDoc Mk1 and use it ([Up]).

Enemy Engagement: Vault over cover ([X]) to the next area. Defeat three enemies, using cover and healing. Switch weapons with [Triangle]. Aim for headshots for bonus damage.

Scanner Tutorial: You can use your scanner to reveal information about enemies and objects.

Hacking Module: Interact with the module to begin.

Object Scanning: Head to the window, hold [L1] to activate your scanner. Scan objects; colors indicate hazard (red), hackable (green), or loot (blue). Scan all objects to proceed.

Guard Distraction: Scan the large screen in the next room. Use the “Distract Enemies” quickhack ([Square]) on the screen. This consumes RAM; your total RAM is shown as blue bars.

Stealth Takedown: While the guard is distracted, sneak ([Circle]), vault through the window and over cover. Sneak behind the guard and perform a takedown ([Square]). You can choose to kill ([Square]) or perform a non-lethal takedown ([Triangle]).

Body Disposal: Hold [Triangle] to pick up the body and carry it to a dumpster, then dispose of it ([Square]).

Second Guard: Sneak up on the next guard and position yourself near a dumpster for immediate body disposal after the takedown.

Camera Hacking: Scan a camera through the window. Hack it to take control. Use the camera to scan guards outside your line of sight.

Breach Protocol: You cannot afford the “Detonate Grenade” quickhack. Use “Breach Protocol” on a guard to access the Code Matrix. Upload the “ICEpick daemon” to reduce quickhack RAM costs.

Code Matrix: Recreate the daemon’s sequence in the Code Matrix by selecting the correct codes. Sequences and matrix contents are randomized.
