The Heist

Meet Jackie outside Afterlife. Nomads can choose a unique dialogue option.

Head inside Afterlife and discuss the heist with Dex. You can raise your share to 35% and choose whether to report Evelyn.

(Optional) If playing as a Nomad, say “The Afterlife’s known far and wide.” to Jackie.

(Optional) If playing as a Street Kid, say “This is it - the major leagues.” to Jackie.

(Optional) If playing as a Corpo, say “Doesn’t look like all it’s bigged up to be.” to Jackie.

(Optional) If playing as a Street Kid, say “Think this might be the oldest club in Night City” to Claire at the bar.

After Dex and T-Bug leave, choose to postpone the job with “Something I gotta take care of first.” or start it with “Let’s go.”

If you start the job, time will skip to your arrival at Konpeki Plaza in a Delamain.

Chat with Jackie and the car.

Answer T-Bug's call and follow her instructions.

Disarm and exit the Delamain, then enter the hotel.

Talk your way past security and the receptionist. (Corpo players can say “Have I asked you to do that?” if the receptionist prepares to notify Taki-san.)

Follow Jackie through the hotel. You can explore the bar to see Hideo Kojima's cameo.

(Optional) If playing as a Nomad, say “Gonna have a look around.” at the bar. Witness the cameo and, after the drunkard leaves, talk to the bartender and say “You always this forward?”.

Follow Jackie or the yellow quest trail to an elevator and ride up to your room.

T-Bug will give instructions. Scan for a shaft in the corner of the room near the floor by the window.

Take the control shard from Jackie to guide the Flathead.

In the first room, scan a shaft to the upper right, above a guard. Press [Square] to command the Flathead into the shaft.

In the second room, scan the shaft near the floor by the window in the lower left corner, next to a maid. Scan a Terrarium Cooling Unit on the ground below and to the right. Sic the Flathead on the cooling unit. Once the maids are gone, direct the Flathead into the shaft.

In the third room, direct the Flathead into the shaft on the opposite end.

In the fourth room, scan the door and sic the Flathead on it. If it fails, scan a CCTV Access Point on the ground to the left of the door and command the Flathead to jack in.

Press [Right] or [Left] to swap to the camera in the fifth room. If you have Intelligence 4, you can suggest neutralizing the Dweller.

Scan a shaft to the lower left in the fifth room, then toggle back to the fourth room's camera.

In the fourth room, scan a shaft on the floor to the right of the door and have the Flathead crawl through it.

Switch back to the fifth room's camera and sic the Flathead on the Dweller.

Back in your room, sit on the couch to move to the next phase.

When V comes to, leave the room and follow Jackie to the elevator, then ride up to the penthouse.

(Optional) If playing as a Nomad, say “Maybe he wanted to ditch the system.” to Jackie.

(Optional) If playing as a Street Kid, say “Rich asshole’s whim - why should i care” to Jackie.

(Optional) If playing as a Corpo, say “You can kick the rat outta the corp, but…” to Jackie.

In the penthouse, enter the door to the right from the elevator and search the dark corner for the Kotetsu No Ryu Coat.

Head to the bedroom. Search the table to the right of the bed for Kongou.

Return to the elevator, head left, past the iguana habitat, and go up the stairs to find Yorinobu’s Slacks and Yorinobu’s Formal Shirt in a suitcase.
