Walkthrough
- 1Lobby: Upon arrival in Arasaka Tower, you'll face initial waves of enemies: two Bodyguards, two Agents, and a Ranger. Proceed upstairs to fight two Mechs.
- 2Elevator Access: After defeating the Mechs, check the elevator. Arasaka soldiers will attack in waves. First, Agents will descend the stairs. Then, three Juggernauts will emerge from elevators. Finally, Arasaka Soldiers and Rangers will attack. One Soldier drops the Arasaka Tower Access Token.
- 3Ascend to Netrunner Operations: Grab the token, summon the elevator, and ride down. Be prepared for another Mech upon arrival.
- 4Netrunner Operations: Exit the elevator and clear out Rangers and a turret. Be cautious of a door to your left, as two Assault Specialists will attack from there and the area near the turret.
- 5Proceed to Mainframe: You can go through the sealed door (requires Body 13) or down the hallway. Both paths lead to stairs where you'll face more Soldiers, Rangers, an Assault Specialist, and a Juggernaut.
- 6Mainframe Approach: Enter the room they guarded. After a brief exchange with Johnny, kill two more Arasaka Rangers down a hallway and jump into the mainframe area.
- 7Walkway Encounter: Exit the mainframe area through a doorway and jump down to the right. You'll face a Mech and a squad of Arasaka Rangers and Robots.
- 8Final Approach to Mainframe: Continue forward to where the Robots were, take a right, and follow the quest trail. You'll encounter a Juggernaut, two Agents, and a Special Agent.
- 9Mainframe Room: Enter the mainframe room and defeat the Robots and Rangers.
- 10Mainframe Interaction: Go through the door the Robots emerged from, turn right, and enter the double doors. Interact with a terminal and use the “Enable” command to expose a console.
- 11Return to Mainframe Room: Be ready for Juggernauts and Rangers arriving from the stairs and your entry point. Use cover and Tech weapons to your advantage.
- 12Interface with Mainframe: After defeating the enemies, interface with the mainframe.
- 13Prepare for Boss: Head through the gate past where the Robots were. Use the time before the second gate opens to heal.
- 14Boss Arena: Push open the second gate to enter the arena for the fight against Adam Smasher.
Boss: Adam Smasher
- Phase 1 Strategy: Smasher will charge and attempt melee attacks, followed by blasts from his arm-gun. Use cover, double jump, or dodging to avoid his charge. Seek cover from his prolonged arm-gun fire. This is a good time to heal and reload.
- Weaknesses: Smasher is weak to shock damage (e.g., Short Circuit quickhack) and generally receptive to physical damage. He is resistant to chemical damage. Upload times for quickhacks are increased, and it costs +5 RAM.
- Phase 2 (Below 50% HP): Smasher calls in reinforcements: a Juggernaut and a Sniper on a walkway above. Smasher will also become more aggressive with his arm-gun fire.
- Phase 2 Strategy: Use cover to avoid Smasher's sustained fire and prioritize taking out the Juggernaut and Sniper.
