    Acquire Standard New Weapons: After installing Patch 1.6, the Kappa, Kyubi, MA70 HB, and VST-37 Pozhar weapons will appear throughout Night City. You can obtain them by defeating enemies, looting containers, or buying them from vendors.

    Find Hypercritical: This iconic Power Precision Rifle is found during the Gig “Concrete Cage Trap”. Progress through the gig until you reach the apartment where Tiny Mike is located. Hypercritical can be found in the bathroom with Tiny Mike.

    Find Guts: This iconic Power Shotgun, favored by Rebecca from the Edgerunners anime, is located near the Arasaka Tower fast travel point (City Center - Corpo Plaza). From the fast travel point, turn right and follow the street to stairs on your right. Climb the stairs and follow the walkway around the glass floor. Turn left at the end of the walkway, then left again towards a hedge. Follow the edge of the hedge through two bushes until you reach a third, thicker bush. Search the ground near this bush to find the Guts shotgun.
Tips
  • The Hypercritical sniper rifle has high single-shot damage, a chance for bullets to ricochet, a high headshot (a shot that lands on the enemy's head, usually an instant kill) damage multiplier, and a low rate of fire. It is best suited for players with a high Body stat.
  • The new weapons come in standard rarities, but crafting schematics or legendary variants have not yet been discovered.
