The Nomad: Prologue

Complete The Nomad prologue mission in cyberpunk 2077. Loot the garage, get intel from the telecom tower, and meet Jackie Welles.

Walkthrough:

1. Loot the garage for consumables and junk.
2. Talk to the Mechanic and exhaust dialog options.
3. Enter the car and start the engine.
4. After more dialogue with the Mechanic and the Sheriff, you are free to go.
5. Drive to the nearby telecom tower, following the yellow quest trail on your minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen). You can switch between 1st person and 3rd person cameras by pressing [RIGHT] on the D-Pad.
6. Exit your car and open the gate to reach the base of the telecom tower.
7. Climb the ladder to the control box.
8. Open the control box to get the signal and intel. Your client, Jackie Welles, is at a nearby farm.
9. Climb down the tower, looting any scattered items.
10. Get back in your car and drive to the farm.
11. Head inside to find Jackie Welles.
12. After talking, head outside with the cargo.
13. Open the trunk for Jackie.
14. Get in the driver's seat and drive to the border crossing.
15. Maneuver through the dialogue with Jackie.
16. Enter the inspection building and give the Border Guard your weapon.
17. Head into the indicated room and talk to another Border Guard. Your dialogue choices here do not matter.
18. Recover your weapon from the front desk.
19. Exit the building and return to Jackie, who will take over driving.
20. After some driving, corporate troopers will appear to take back your cargo.
21. Engage in a scripted chase scene where you shoot at the pursuing troopers. Your performance does not significantly impact the outcome.
22. You will end up hiding out in a garage with Jackie.
23. Talk with Jackie to get a glimpse at the cargo and form a new business partnership.
24. The game will fast forward six months.
25. After watching the scenes, you will be back in control at the start of the main job
