How to Respec in Kingdom Come Deliverance II

To respec your character in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, you'll need to progress through the main story until you reach the Kuttenberg region. This typically takes around 20 hours of gameplay. The specific main story mission that leads you to Kuttenberg is called “Storm”.

Once you arrive in Kuttenberg, you will need to acquire the Lethean Water Alchemy Recipe. There are two primary methods to obtain this recipe: you can purchase it from an Apothecary in Kuttenberg, or you can obtain it for free by completing the sidequest “The Thunderstone” in Grund.

How to Get Lethean Water

The method you choose will depend on whether you prefer a quicker, more expensive option or a slower, free alternative.

Option 1: Purchase in Kuttenberg (Expensive)

Head to Kuttenberg. You can travel there by following the road east out of Suchdol. Once in the city, navigate towards the center and then head east. The Apothecary will be on your right (south). Inside, you can purchase the Lethean Water potion for 72 Groshen or the recipe for 170 Groshen.

Option 2: Complete “The Thunderstone” Sidequest in Grund (Free)

Travel to the small settlement of Grund, located northeast of Suchdol and north of Kuttenberg. It is recommended to use a horse for this journey. Upon reaching Grund, go to the Tavern in the center of the village and speak to the Innkeeper. Ask about any new happenings, and you will receive a quest marker leading you to Kona. Speak with Kona and accept “The Thunderstone” sidequest. Complete the quest by returning the stone to Kona (not the original owner). As a reward, you will receive the Lethean Water recipe for free, along with a discount at the local stables.

How to Use Lethean Water

After obtaining the Lethean Water potion, open your inventory and consume it by taking a sip. Doing so will refund all the Perk Points you have spent throughout your gameplay. This action does not reset your skill levels; it solely returns your Perk Points for redistribution.

Completing “The Thunderstone” sidequest is recommended as it not only provides the recipe for free but also offers a discount at the stables in Grund, which can be beneficial if you need to acquire another horse.
