Old Raven Achievement Guide

Gain access to Nebakov Fortress. You'll be left in the care of Adjutant Michael while Hans meets the supposed lord.

Engage in distractions to pass time, such as dueling Michael, playing dice with Guardsman Zwerk, or talking to Groom Peltzel about a race. Be mindful of a generous time limit for exploring.

To lure Guard Hertel away, you need to gather intel about the suspiciously abundant horses at Nebakov.

Talk to Adjutant Michael after he finishes chastising Hertel and Zwerk. After he asks about your visit and Hans, he will challenge you to a duel.

Accept or decline the duel. Then, select the dialog options: _“There’s something I’d like to ask…”_ followed by _“You’ve got lots of horses here…”_ and _“I’ll be glad to hear it!”_ to hear Michael’s story about the horses.

Exit the fortress and find Groom Peltzel. Select the dialog option _“You’ve got a lot of horses here.”_

Pass one of three medium or hard Speech checks to learn Peltzel’s conflicting story about the horses. End the conversation with _“I see.”_

This will give you the objective _Explore the fortress (Optional)_. Return to Guard Hertel.

Convince Guard Hertel to leave his post by succeeding at a medium Speech check.

Wait until Guard Hertel is out of sight (he will walk up nearby stairs).

Pick the {hard} locked door to gain access to the prison.

Talk to the Lord of Nebakov.

Before talking to the Lord, ensure you close the prison door behind you to avoid being noticed and potentially getting a bounty.

Successfully talking to the Lord of Nebakov will earn you the “Old Raven” achievement.
