Need help with the Attila Task in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II? Follow our step-by-step walkthrough to find the thieves' camp, retrieve the horse, and claim your reward.

Alright, let's get this Attila quest sorted in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. It's a pretty straightforward one, but there are a few things to keep in mind to make it go smoothly.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Starting the Attila Task: First off, you need to head to the Maleshov inn. It's located southwest of Danemark. Once you're there, chat with Innkeeper Slatchalek and ask him, “What’s new around here?”. He'll point you towards Groom Hashtal. You'll find him a short walk northwest from the inn. To make sure you don't mess up the quest, here are the dialogue options you absolutely want to pick: “Why the long face”, “how can I find it?”, “What if they’ve already sold the horse”, and finally, “I’ll help you”. Getting these right locks in your path forward.
  2. 2
Find the Thieves’ Camp: Now, if you're aiming to avoid a fight, stealth is your best friend here. It's a good idea to brew or grab some Saviour Schnapps before you head out. Make your way into the woods west of your current spot. The Thieves’ Camp is tucked away at the very leftmost edge of the search area. You'll see a couple of images showing you to head to the left side of the search area to find the camp and the horse near the entrance. Attila himself is usually hanging around the entrance. The easiest way to get the horse back is to crouch-walk over and quickly hop on. Just be mindful of what you're wearing – if your armor is clanky, they'll hear you coming! If you spot anyone too close to the horse, a well-aimed rock thrown in the opposite direction should distract them long enough for you to make your move.
  3. 3
Attila Task Rewards: Once you've got Attila's horse, just ride it back to the Maleshov Stables. Show Groom Hashtal that you've got the horse, and that'll wrap up the quest. You'll be looking at a reward of 250 Groschen for your troubles.
Tips
  • Brewing or buying Saviour Schnapps beforehand can be a lifesaver if you want to avoid combat.
  • Crouch-walking is key to getting close to the horse without alerting the thieves.
  • Distracting guards with thrown rocks is a simple but effective stealth tactic.
  • Make sure your armor isn't too noisy if you're going for a stealth approach.
  • 250 Groschen
