Complete walkthrough for the Lost Honour side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Learn how to find Zavish, prepare for the duel, and retrieve Jezhek's belongings.
Walkthrough
- 1Start the Quest: Jezhek claims he is robbing you. You can use a skill check, ask questions, or fight him. It's best to be diplomatic. If you fight and he surrenders, accept it to ask him more questions.
- 2Learn the Situation: Jezhek has lost his horse and armor in a bet to a soldier named Zavish of Garbow, who is in Sigismund's camp. Agree to help Jezhek to start the Lost Honour side quest.
- 3Find Zavish: Head to Sigismund's Camp. You can steal the items back, but it's better to challenge Zavish to a duel. Tell the guards you are there on instruction from Jezhek to gain entry.
- 4Locate Zavish: Go to the center of the camp, near the kitchen and mercenaries' tents. Zavish can be identified by his red and yellow coat of arms with a black eagle and three white stones. He is often found eating in a tent.
- 5Confront Zavish: Speak to Zavish and try to convince him to return Jezhek's belongings. He will refuse, citing concerns about his reputation. Insulting his honor will provoke him into challenging you to a duel.
- 6Prepare for the Duel: Before the duel, visit the camp's Armorer (west) to equip Cuman or Knight shields, and the Blacksmith (east) for a polearm, a one-handed weapon, and a longsword. Equip Henry with full plate armor. Save your game before proceeding. You need to win at least two out of three rounds.
- 7Duel Round 1 (Polearm): This is the hardest round. If you must lose one, lose this one. A polearm skill level of at least 10 is recommended. Try to corner Zavish and time your attacks. Dodge rather than block to preserve the polearm's durability.
- 8Duel Round 2 (One-Handed Weapon and Shield): Zavish uses an axe in this round. Ensure your shield is repaired. Attack quickly and parry effectively. Overhead attacks after Zavish's combos are effective.
- 9Duel Round 3 (Longsword): Zavish is skilled with a longsword. Counter his combo attacks with Master Strikes. Charged overhead attacks are effective, while stabs are easily parried. Monitor your stamina, especially when feinting.
- 10Retrieve Belongings: After winning the duel, Zavish will give you a key to his chest in his tent. Inside is Jezhek's armor. Jezhek's horse, Gringolet, is in a stable on the edge of the camp, identifiable by its yellow gear.
- 11Return to Jezhek: Ride Gringolet to the inn east of Miskowitz (southeast corner near Kuttenberg) and leave the horse in the garden. Speak to Jezhek and explain what happened. You can lie about his gear, but it's not recommended.
