Last Rites

Alright, so you're diving into the "Last Rites" quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. This one kicks off with Henry, Godwin, and Capon sharing what might be their last drinks together as the defense of Suchdol is looking pretty grim. Don't stress too much about your dialogue choices here; they don't actually change how this quest wraps up, so just go with whatever feels right and you'll eventually pass out.

You'll get jolted awake by a massive crash – looks like those Praguers are finally making their move, attacking from the outer bailey. Your first move is to head downstairs. Look to your right, and you'll find Peter of Pisek standing amidst the rubble of what used to be a room in the tower. Chat with him however you like, then it's time to get down to the courtyard.

You'll find Peter's room has a rather… *new* feature now. During the chaos of the battle, keep an eye out for opportunities to use a Polearm. You'll need it to knock down a ladder.

From this point on, the rest of this main quest plays out exactly like the prologue mission, which also happens to be called "Last Rites." If you've already played through that, you'll know the drill. You'll be going through the familiar motions: shooting from the battlements with your Crossbow, then making your way through the gate, and finally, taking down a few soldiers. The key action here is using Godwin's Polearm to push down that ladder. Doing so will trigger some lengthy cutscenes, bringing this quest to a close and kicking off the final main quest, "Judgement Day."
