Rosa's Book Quest Walkthrough

Starting the Quest: Progress the main story until you reach Kuttenberg after completing the 'Storm' quest. Advance the main story further until you begin the 'Taking French Leave' quest. You will be instructed to speak with Rosa. Agree to help her, and she will ask you to find a book for her, initiating Rosa's Book.

Retrieving the Book: During the 'Taking French Leave' quest, infiltrate Maleshov Fort. After the scene with Von Bergow, make your way to the battlements. Go south and enter the fort. Stealthily take down the soldier, go downstairs, and enter the kitchen. Proceed east through the kitchen and up the stairs. Stealthily take down the sleeping soldier and collect the Maleshov fortress key from the table. Return to the floor where you took the key, open the northern door, and go up the stairs in the courtyard. Use the key (or Lockpick) to open the door leading to the main area. Enter the doorway to your left and go up the stairs. Unlock the top door and proceed through. Open the next door on your left to enter Von Bergow's quarters. The book, 'A book of humourous anecdotes', is located to the right of the fireplace, near a window.

Completing the Quest: After the 'Taking French Leave' quest concludes, return to Rosa in Kuttenberg. Speak with her and inform her you have found the book. Ensure you have read the book in your inventory before speaking to her to unlock additional dialogue options.

Dialogue Choices (Part 1): Select the following responses: "The author really isn’t holding back.", "I would like that."

Dialogue Choices (Part 2 - Writing the Book): Answer Rosa's questions about writing with: "A woman.", "She should be clever.", "Only fools say that.", "Good intent."

Dialogue Choices (Part 3 - Romance): Conclude the conversation with: "If only there were more such books.", "It’s pretty, really.", "I’d like to get to know you better sometime."
