Master Strength in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II with our comprehensive guide. Learn how to level up your Strength stat efficiently and discover the best perks to enhance combat, carrying capacity, and more.
Strength is a crucial stat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, primarily impacting Henry's combat performance. It enhances weapon handling, damage output, and helps mitigate the effects of heavy armor, allowing for greater mobility. Additionally, Strength increases Henry's carrying capacity, enabling him to carry more loot and overcome more foes.
Leveling Strength
Leveling Strength can be challenging, as one of the main methods involves combat and swinging weapons. The higher a weapon's Strength requirement, the more experience (EXP) you gain. However, this method requires actively seeking out and defeating enemies, which carries inherent risks.
Fortunately, there are alternative ways to increase Strength. Walking around while overencumbered is an effective method, especially outside of settlements. The greater the weight carried, the more Strength EXP you'll earn. This also contributes to leveling Endurance simultaneously. The Survival perk "Leg Day" offers another avenue, granting Strength EXP when picking herbs, which can also be used to increase carrying weight.
While it's possible to gain several Strength levels without extensive combat, the game naturally involves fighting. Therefore, actively grinding Strength may become less necessary as you progress through main quests, side quests, and tasks, allowing Strength to grow organically alongside your gameplay.
You gain Strength EXP by fighting, with higher Strength requirement weapons yielding more EXP. You also gain Strength EXP by walking around when overencumbered. Carrying bodies does not grant Strength EXP.
