    After cutscenes, speak with Abelard regarding the officers' briefing.

    Receive reports from the Infernus Master, High Factotum, Drivesmaster, Master Helmsman, and Master of Ordnance. This will initiate quests to replace lost crewmembers and find a new Engineseer Prime and Navigator.

    Speak to Argenta below the throne to discuss her personal request regarding orphaned children. Agree to meet them on the Lower Decks.

    On the Lower Decks, speak to the children and choose your response carefully to shape Argenta's character development: "I understand your grief and dismay..." (humility), "When the heretics who killed your parents..." (fire), or "The strong have the power to decide the fate of others..." (fury).

    Return to the bridge and speak with Abelard by the Koronus Expanse map. You can earn XP by making a Coercion (+60) test when discussing his past.

    Speak with Jocasta Sauerback, the Master-at-Arms, nearby.

    Speak with your Factotum, Janris Danrok, by a console north of the system map. He offers services such as hiring mercenary party members, respeccing party members, information on the trading system, and details about factions.

    Speak with Idira east of Janris, down some steps. Ask her to read your fortune for hints about upcoming quests.

    After speaking to all named NPCs, exit west to your quarters.

Lord Captain's Quarters:

Interact with items in your quarters. Your desk is in the middle, with a vault for storage and a Shrine of Remembrance. If you preordered the Ultimate Digital Edition, your name will be here. A chest to the right of the desk contains a Negotiator Pistol, the Mark of the Ruler ring, and the Xenopelt Cloak. In the lower section, find a Cracked Data-Slate in a wardrobe and an Unfinished Letter on a desk. If following the Heretical path, you can access Theodora's secret room.

If you have the Void Shadows DLC (downloadable content — extra missions or items released after launch), you will find a bath in your quarters. Speak to the Master of Ablutions to use it. You can have companions join, make checks for modest XP rewards, and choose what to think about to earn Conviction points.

Return to the voidship bridge and bring up the Koronus Expanse Map when ready to proceed.

Rykad System:

You can visit Rykad Majoris, Rykad Minoris, the prison planetoid Rykadi Philia, and the space station Eurac V. An Unidentified Voidship is connected to Rykadi Philia. If you have the Void Shadows DLC, Astropathic Station VX-02-537 is also available.
