Debris of Battiada

After jumping through the dimensional gate in Porta Septentum, you will emerge in this system.

• Destroyed Ship: Yields 150 Scrap.
• Ice World: This is a location for the Chapter 5 main quest.
• Drukhari Ships: Interact with the ships to initiate Marazhai's final companion quest.
• Warp Gate: Inactive.

Debris of Battiada - Expedition Traces

If you send scouts to investigate, they will report finding equipment bearing the von Valancius coat of arms. Investigate further and your scouts will find a data-crypt with orders to eliminate the exploration team signed by Theodora.

//-An#8954No01-KT// is reached via an orange route from Debris of Battiada. When you reach the system, you will be thrown into battle against a large Drukhari fleet consisting of four Last Hatred Frigates and five Immortality Denied Destroyers.

• Arid World: Point of interest: Drukhari Camp. This is the location of Marazhai's final companion quest.
• Rocky World: Point of interest: Emerald Fires.

You will find two xenos ships, one of which is broadcasting on a frequency used by von Valancius ships and claiming that Lady Theodora's people are on board. If you choose to fight, you will find yourself in combat with five Jackal-Class Frigates. There are also four Shroud-Class Light Cruisers but these will only attack you if you come within a certain distance. When you've defeated the vessels, you will find the remains of a von Valancius boarding party and you will recover a data-slate and a Heavy Enforcer Cannon.

You will find a pair of pyramidal monoliths on the surface. Study the intact monolith and make a Perception (+20) check to obtain a Withering Shard amulet.

//-An#8954No01-KT// - Necron Ring

If you examine the object, you will find that it is some sort of gateway. Make a Lore: Xenos (-55) check to gain the Novelty Effect ability for your voidship (+15% evasion vs. Necron enemies for the next combat).

Nephritis Dominium

Nephritis Dominium is reached via orange routes from Debris of Battiada and //-An#8954No01-KT//. There are two Jackal-Class Frigates and a Shroud-Class Light Cruiser around the Desert World.

• Desert World: Point of interest: Ancient Tunnels.
• Savannah World: Point of interest: Abandoned Camp.
• Ice World: Point of interest: Search Expedition. This is the location of Ulfar's second companion quest.

Nephritis Dominium - Ancient Tunnels

One of your crew reports that there is a von Valancius shuttle on the surface and a system of tunnels nearby. Choose to explore the tunnels.

Xenos Crypt

Head west down the stairs from your starting point. You will find remains of the Von Valancius expedition along with chests containing the Pacification Webber and the Tormentor of the Chastened power maul. Continue west and note the large number of dormant necrons. Make your way to the platform in the central area and some of them will become rather less dormant.

When the first batch of enemies are defeated, more enemies will spawn: five Necron Warriors and one Immortal. When the final enemies are destroyed, search the remains of the Tech-Priest on the platform to obtain the Insatiable flamer, a Falconry cyber-eagle accessory and The Last Confession of Magos Theseus Delta Praximus. There are two obelisks which you can interact with (one on the northern platform, one on the southern). If you learned the Necron language earlier, you will be able to decipher the symbols. You can place your hand on the symbols but as far as I can tell, these just provide Necron lore. Before leaving, search a crate on the southern platform to find the Gaze of the Void heavy Drukhari laser and the Cloaking Field Emitter backpack.

Nephritis Dominium - Abandoned Camp

You will find the remains of a Drukhari Camp. Send a squad of scouts to search the area. Make a Perception (+20) check to find some sort of xenos monstrosity and a Lore: Xenos (-10) check to recognise it as a Medusa. Destroy it to receive Pain Blocker x3 and continue exploring. Make an Awareness (-55) check to obtain a Master-Crafted Hekatarii Blade and the Last Stand shield. Afterwards, you can burn the place if you like.

Sanctum of Taaphetus

Sanctum of Taaphetus is reached via an orange route from Nephritis Dominium.

• Lifeless World: Point of interest: Tomb.
• Tomb World Epitaph: This is a location for the Chapter 5 main quest.
