Pasqal reveals that the ship is the last known location of Amarnat. Agree to plot a course to the transmitted coordinates in System Speculo.

You can create a warp route from Frozen Prince to Orsellio Prophecy, and then travel to your destination. Alternatively, for the shortest path, if you have enough Navigator's Insight, there is a red route between Orsellio Prophecy and System Speculo.

Upon reaching System Speculo, travel to the Ark Mechanicus Hermetico.

Ask about a safe docking spot; Pasqal speculates he can open the vacuum lock due to having a justification for being there. Order the boarding crew to assemble and go aboard.

If you recruited Abel in Chapter 1, he will accompany you. Head north and east to find a hidden door (Awareness -75) in the northeast corner.

Inside, find a crate containing a pair of Heavy Lifters and a Mark 8B3-5 Filter Gas Mask.

Speak to the Chief on the platform with the gun, who mentions the ghosts of nothingness have entered the deck.

Explore the Chief's dialogue to learn he believes the ship is all that remains after the Cycle was discontinued. Pasqal speculates these are descendants of low-ranking General Ac olytes.

Further dialogue reveals they maintain machines under the command of Marnat, receiving food, water, and nutrient mix in return. The Chief will mention a ghost of nothingness speaking forbidden words and penetrating the Chamber of Observus.

If you wish to go to the Chamber of Observus, the Chief states it's only possible for someone with Pref's blessing.

Examine interactable objects. Pasqal concludes a battle occurred in the bay and Amarnat declared the observatorium off-limits.

Speak to the Tech-Shaman near the lift in the northwest corner, who asks if you've come to speak to the Great Pref.

Learn about Pref, the deck's cruel patron spirit. Pasqal identifies the shaman as referring to a Prefect Enumerator (Logic -25).

To speak to Pref, the shaman begins chanting. Claim to be the Messiah of Discontinuing.

Pref demands to know why he should show respect. Suggest a show of force, and Pasqal will subdue the machine spirit.

Pref asks why you seek his friendship. State that he already knows the answer, and Pasqal will declare he has come to discontinue the cycle.

Attempt to use the lift. After some dialogue, state you wish to go to the observatorium. The servitor replies the lift is in Obscuratoria mode. Pasqal predicts an attack by dormant deck guards once the lift is operational.

Activate the lift. Pasqal's prediction is correct; you will be attacked by an Immortal Skitarrii Alpha, two Immortal Skitarii Shooters, and five Immortal Skitarii Devotees.

After defeating the deck guards, the lift will open. Use it to reach the observatorium.

Head up the stairs to find Brasswhisper, a Tech-Priest in Calcazar's service.

Pasqal demands Amarnat's whereabouts. Brasswhisper reveals Amarnat was a collective of Tech-Priests who renounced individuality, and Pasqal was its creator.

When the hive mind encountered an unsolvable problem, the collective hid their memories behind false personas across the Koronus Expanse to gather data.

Brasswhisper reveals herself as Nihel, the seventh member. She was authorized to study a dangerous artifact by Calcazar, which awakened her memories. She then began terminating other collective members to destroy Amarnat's legacy.

Pasqal tells Nihel she usurped his role; her function was to challenge, while his was to make decisions.

After further exchanges, you will fight Nihel.
