So, you want to recruit the Gatekeeper in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes? He was a fan favorite in Three Houses, and thankfully, he's playable here! However, he's not available right from the start, so you'll need to put in some time and effort to get him on your side.

The main requirement to recruit the Gatekeeper is to have completed the game twice already, and you'll need to be playing on New Game Plus. You can recruit him regardless of the route you choose, but it's tied to which Houses you picked for your first two playthroughs. Basically, your first two playthroughs need to be with two different Houses. For example, if you chose Scarlet Blaze for your first run, your second playthrough on New Game Plus can't be Scarlet Blaze again – it has to be either Golden Wildfire or Azure Gleam.

Once you've finished your second playthrough and are starting up your third, you'll then pick the House that you haven't played yet for your second New Game Plus.
