First things first, you can't just change classes willy-nilly. You actually have to acquire them first. To do that, you'll need to head over to the Training Grounds. Once you're there, find the Training Instructor and select the option that says “Acquire Class.”

From there, pick the character you want to give a new job to. The game will show you their entire class tree. You'll then need to use a specific item called an “exam seal” to actually learn the new class. The type of seal you need depends on the tier of the class you're aiming for – so an Intermediate Seal for an Intermediate class, you get the idea!

Now, sometimes you'll notice that some classes are locked on that tree. Don't freak out! This usually means you need to master the class that comes before it in the tree. For example, if you want to snag a fancy Master tier class like the Bow Knight, you'll need to have mastered the Fighter, Archer, and Sniper classes first. Once you've got a new class unlocked and acquired, switching to it is even easier. Just open up your main menu when you're at your base camp or on the world map.
