Learn how to unlock Advanced and Master Classes in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes by upgrading the Training Grounds and obtaining the necessary seals. Starts from Chapter 7!
Alright, so you're looking to get your characters into those super-powered Advanced and Master Classes, huh? It's not too complicated, but you'll need to do a bit of facility management first. The key is upgrading your Training Grounds, and you'll get the chance to start gathering the materials you need from Chapter 7 onwards.
First things first, you need to access the facility upgrades. Chat with the Training Grounds instructor on the war map and select “Expand Facility,” or find the Facility Master and choose to upgrade the Training Grounds. Either way, it'll take you to the same upgrade screen.
You'll need to perform an initial upgrade called Install a Training Dummy. For this, you'll need 10 Crude Building Material and 500 G. You should have more than enough of these by the time Chapter 7 rolls around.
Once that's done, focus on the second upgrade in the fourth column from the left: Advanced Class Certification Exam. This one requires a bit more: 10 Quality Building Material, 10 Veteran Training Gear, and 1,500 G. Don't sweat the materials too much; after completing the first battle in Chapter 7, you can survey spots on the war map to grab 41 Quality Building Material and 30 Veteran Training Gear. That's more than enough to get this upgrade!
Completing the Advanced Class Certification Exam upgrade is what unlocks Advanced Classes. To unlock Master Classes, you'll need to go for the next upgrade to the right. This will set you back 10 Lavish Building Material, 10 Elite Training Gear, and 2,000 G. We're still figuring out the best spots to farm those specific materials, but we'll update you as soon as we know!
After you've made these upgrades, you'll notice the padlock symbols disappear from the class tier column on your character's status screen. To actually change into an Advanced Class, your character needs to have mastered its current pre-requisite class and you'll need an Advanced Seal. For Master Classes, it's the same deal – master the pre-requisite and use a Master Seal.
You can snag these seals by completing battles, surveying spots, or buying them from the Item Shopkeeper, though they have limited stock. Advanced Seals start showing up from Chapter 7 onwards. We'll let you know when we have more info on the best ways to get Master Seals!
