How to Recruit Every Character in Three Hopes

Learn how to recruit every character in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. This guide covers main story recruits, post-game unlocks, and strategy-based recruitment.

To recruit characters in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, you'll primarily use two methods: completing main story chapters or utilizing 'Strategies' before specific battles. Some characters can also be recruited post-game using Renown bonuses.

Recruiting via Strategies:

First, acquire Strategy Resources by conquering territories on the War Map. Before initiating a main quest battle, spend these resources to enable a Strategy, typically named 'Persuade (Character)'. During the battle, a prompt will appear to activate the Strategy. Hold down the indicated button until the gauge is full. This changes the mission objective, allowing you to recruit the character by defeating them.

Post-Game Recruitment:

After completing the game, you can recruit certain characters using Renown bonuses. Visit your Journal at the base camp, select 'Spend Renown,' and then 'Unlock Units.'
