Alright, so you've reached Chapter 4 in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, and you've unlocked the Base Camp. This is where things get really interesting with all the new facilities, and one of them is run by the Chore Master. It might seem a bit odd to have your top generals and magic-users doing chores instead of fighting, but hey, that's how this game works! Taking care of the horses makes some sense, but running a street stall? Someone's definitely not prioritizing winning the war here, but let's roll with it.

When you interact with the Chore Master, you can choose to Volunteer for various Chores. The main thing to know is that different characters have different preferences for these tasks. You can see this on the bottom left of the screen when you're choosing a Chore. Characters with portraits shown there prefer certain tasks. When you select a Chore, you'll see blue arrows next to the portraits of characters who have a good affinity for it. This makes it super clear who you should assign to what.

Characters with a higher affinity for a Chore are more likely to get better results, which are rated on a three-point scale: Nice, Great, and Perfect. Honestly, the results themselves are pretty similar across all Chores, but assigning the right character is key to getting those better outcomes.

Here's the breakdown of what you get from doing Chores:

• Support Points: Characters participating in Chores together will gain Support Points with each other. Shez is always one of the three participants, and the other two will gain more Support Points with each other than with Shez. This is great because Shez has other ways to build Support Ranks, like with Gifts.
• Morale: Completing a Chore grants one bar of Morale.
• Renown: You'll earn Renown points – one point for a 'Nice' result, and two points for a 'Great' or 'Perfect' result.
• Gifts: If you achieve a 'Perfect' result, you'll also get a random Gift.

Keep in mind that undertaking a Chore uses up an Activity Point, and you only have a limited number of these per Chapter. Also, characters other than Shez can only participate in one Chore per Chapter. Since 'Great' and 'Perfect' results give you two Renown, it's totally worth it to save and reload if you don't get one of those outcomes. Just keep trying until you hit that Perfect result!
