Learn what Battalions are in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, how they function as passive stat boosts, and how to acquire and upgrade them at the Battalion Master.

Battalions in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes function as passive stat boosts, similar to equipment, rather than deployable units as seen in Three Houses. You can acquire them through the Battalion Master at your camp (unlocked in Chapter 5), mission rewards, Surveying Spots, and Achievements. The Battalion Master can be upgraded to offer more battalions, better equipment, and reduced costs.

To use a Battalion, equip it via the Convoy menu. Each Battalion provides defensive benefits against specific damage types and can influence your advantage/disadvantage against weapon types. A key requirement for equipping a Battalion is that your character's Authority stat must meet or exceed the Battalion's requirement.

Battalions have an Endurance stat, which represents their health. Taking damage in battle reduces a Battalion's Endurance. If Endurance reaches zero, the Battalion's effect is lost. While only one character can equip a specific Battalion at a time, you can own multiple copies of the same Battalion if you acquire them through different means.
