    Mission 1: Defeat the Gatekeeper
    Charge north towards the front gates. Defeat the gatekeeper to open the gate. The gatekeeper drops a colored weapon pack. Assign adjutants by approaching a playable character and pressing L + Y.

    Mission 2: Seize the Thieves’ Base
    With the front gates open, send your playable characters to capture the four red strongholds. Use the Orders menu (press Y) to direct them. Lance users are recommended for northern strongholds, axe users for north-east and east, Shez for northern ones, and ranged fighters for remaining strongholds. A Thief with a Chest Key will spawn in the west corridor; intercept them and steal the key. Use the key to open the chest in the Chapel for an accessory.

    Mission 3: Seize the Dungeon and rescue the student
    After capturing the first four strongholds, head to the final stronghold in the north-west corner. Defeat the sword-wielding captain to rescue the imprisoned student. A lance user is recommended for this mission.

    Mission 4: Escort Monica to safety
    The rescued student, Monica, will begin to escape. Enemies, including yellow Mysterious Soldiers, will appear to stop her. Defeat the Mysterious Soldiers, particularly the ones at the Plaza and near the Dungeon stronghold, to clear Monica's path.
Tips
  • S Rank Requirements: Achieve S Rank by completing the mission within 12:00, defeating 600 enemies, and taking less than 40% damage.
  • Playable Characters: Depending on your chosen house, you will have Edelgard, Hubert, Ferdinand (Black Eagles); Dimitri, Dedue, Ashe (Blue Lions); or Claude, Lorenz, Hilda (Golden Deer) as playable characters. Jeritza will assist as an NPC.
  • Adjutants: Adjutants provide passive stat boosts, trigger follow-up attacks, and enhance your Warrior Special into a Partner Special.
